Zuri - AVAILABLE TO FOSTER OR ADOPT

Zuri is a beautiful Boston Terrier/Boxer-type mix who is about 2 years old and approximately 30-35 pounds. She's a friendly, affectionate girl with a wonderfully balanced personality and a curiosity about the world around her.

Zuri is VERY dog friendly and enjoys spending time with canine friends. She's playful and loves a good sprint, but her energy level is quite manageable for a young dog. She's just as happy heading out for a leisurely walk through the woods, where she can take her time sniffing and investigating everything along the way.

One of Zuri's best qualities is how nicely she handles new experiences. She tends to greet unfamiliar sights and situations with mild curiosity rather than getting overly excited or overwhelmed. She's an adaptable girl who we think could become a wonderful companion to take along on walks, outings and adventures.

Zuri isn't especially interested in toys yet, but she does enjoy attention from people and loves exploring with her nose. She's affectionate, social, playful and curious without being over-the-top. Zuri is very dog friendly, but the shelter said she is not good with cats and needs a feline-free home.

If you're looking for a young dog who is friendly, fun, adaptable and ready to be part of your everyday life, Zuri may be exactly who you've been waiting for! She is scheduled to be spayed soon so she will be ready to go to her new home!

Apply at redbarnrescue.com to meet her!
