Red Barn Rescue

Red Barn Rescue is a 501(c)(3) volunteer-supported dog rescue serving Clayton, Johnston County, and surrounding areas. We focus on saving adoptable dogs at high risk for euthanasia in public shelters. All dogs receive spay/neuter, vaccinations, veterinary care, preventatives, and heartworm treatment if needed. As resources allow, we also support spay/neuter efforts to reduce overpopulation. We place dogs in responsible, loving homes through a thorough adoption process and remain committed to each dog’s welfare for life, welcoming back any dog that cannot stay in their adoptive home. We keep administrative costs low so donations directly benefit the dogs, and our volunteers work tirelessly to provide care, enrichment, and training. We collaborate with shelters and rescue partners to lower euthanasia rates and promote a better future for homeless pets.
