Duffy's Friends matching dogs to families within the Monroe County area. We do allow the towns right over this border.

We ask that you review our Pet finder home page as it will list the steps for adoption and the guidelines we follow to adopt from our shelter. We require fenced yards, children over 10 years of age and a vet reference of prior or current dog ownership.

We are at Petco on Hylan Drive every other Saturday from noon to 2 PM. The dates are June 28th for our next meet and greet..

Zoey is approximately 1 year old and a very loving dog. She is spayed and has all her vaccinations and is ready for a family to love her. She is housebroken and goes to the door but as a young dog you still need your crate while you are at work. She would be best as a companion dog to another dog as she likes to run with her border collie friend in the foster home. This is a good way to exercise you pet - get her a friend! She weighs about 17 lbs and will not get any larger.

She is walking well on a leash and likes to ride in the car. Her foster home is making her a super dog and she should easily merge into your lifestyle. We think she would be a great companion dog to your dog and would do well with daily walks. She has been going to the doggy park and learning how to play with many dogs.

When her hair grows out she has golden highlights and apricot frosted tips to her coat. She might be a spaniel mix with terrier or Shih tzu. We believe there might be something else in her but the mix is absolutely beautiful as well as her inner personality.
