Zoe's Story
ZOE – AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

This tiny 8.5-pound Chihuahua/Pug mix is 2 years old and looking for a patient, loving family to help her continue blossoming into the happy little dog she’s meant to be.

Zoe has already come such a long way in foster care. What started as a very timid little girl has slowly turned into a cuddly companion who loves curling up beside her person on the couch or in bed. One of her cutest quirks is collecting stuffed animals and hiding them in her kennel like little treasures. Recently, she’s even started chasing balls, showing off happy tail wags, playful wiggles, and more confidence every day. Once Zoe trusts you, she has SO much love to give.
Zoe is still learning that the world is safe. Therefore, she would do best in a calm, quiet home with patient people who understand shy or anxious dogs. Young children make her nervous, and she can become overwhelmed by too much activity or noise. A peaceful home with older adults or a gentle routine would help her feel secure. Zoe enjoys the company of other dogs and often cuddles with her foster siblings so would do well with another calm small dog. She has not been cat tested.
Zoe is crate trained, potty trained, and can stay home for short periods, though she would love a home where someone is around more often. She’s still working on leash training and needs continued patience and one-on-one guidance, as she can be fearful outdoors.
Zoe may be shy at first, but underneath that nervous exterior is a sweet little soul just waiting for the right person to love her. Could Zoe be the missing piece in your quiet, loving home?
✨Fully vetted
✨Up to date on vaccinations
✨Spayed
✨Heartworm negative
🚩ADOPT/ FOSTER TO ADOPT
https://forms.gle/SDTy2v32RnViKk4j8
Contact us: info@thedogrescuesociety.net
Learn more: www.thedogrescuesociety.net
