Our Mission
Founded with a passion for compassion, we’re more than just a rescue — we’re a family. Based in Kitchener, Ontario, The Dog Rescue Society is a foster-based, volunteer-run organization dedicated to giving every dog the second chance they deserve. United by our love for animals, our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs in need, while creating a supportive community of adopters, fosters, and animal lovers.

Adoption Policy
Before applying or contacting us, we kindly ask that you review the FAQs on our website. We receive a high volume of inquiries about our adoption process, and many of your questions are already answered there.
As a volunteer-run rescue, our time and resources are limited — reviewing the FAQs helps us focus on what matters most: finding loving homes for the animals in our care. Thank you for your understanding and support!
