Zara

Need a little fun in your life? Want to smile and laugh all day, every day? Looking to get more active or for some encouraging bursts of energy to help keep you young? Zara is all that and a bag of chips in a fun-sized package (a compact 40 lbs that might get a little bigger). This gal is still just a baby who we estimate is between 6-8 months and likely a bulldog, boxer mix. How a puppy ended up alone at a local greenhouse and was never claimed is beyond us, but someone's "loss" is your gain, because Zara is an absolute treasure.

Zara is friends with basically everyone - people - BIG YES; dogs - YES; cats - notices they exist but doesn't chase, so YES. Since she is an exuberant puppy still learning her manners, we recommend human kids over 12 years old. This smart pants is even *pretty* housetrained and rides great in the car. She was a very polite houseguest for a sleepover at our canine manager's home! She's looking forward to finding a human of her very own who will train her and teach her new things so she be the best dog she can be! Zara is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

Apply to adopt your new best friend at www.secondchanceas.org/adopt or at the sanctuary any time we're open. Call 570-376-3646 or email secondchanceas@yahoo.com with any questions.
PA kennel license #04944
