Yoshi’s Story: Yoshi is an active and happy 7-year-old who was transferred to JCCARE from another rescue that had pulled him from a shelter.

Health: Yoshi is up to date on all vaccinations and neutered. Yoshi is on heart medications which are successfully managing his heart health; he needs a home that will continue him on his medications and make sure his heart health is monitored and managed.

Temperament: Yoshi is and active and happy boy who loves everyone he meets and get along great with the other dogs in his foster home.

My Ideal Home: Yoshi enjoys the company of other dogs and appears to be well house-trained. Yoshi has a great deal of love to dispense and is waiting to meet his forever family. It will be essential Yoshi’s forever family make sure he continues on his heart medications and has his heart health checked on a regular basis.

Adoption Process: To adopt a Chin from JCCARE, start by filling out the application found on our website at www.japanesechinrescue.org. The application is under the Forms menu.

If you aren’t ready to adopt yet but would like to help this dog, please click on the purple SPONSOR ME button above the name. Your donation will help us to pay for the care of this dog until he/he finds a forever home.

JCCARE also maintains the lives of many senior and special needs Chin in our “Sanctuary” program. These dogs are not listed on Petfinder, as their health issues make them unlikely to ever be adopted. If you are a lover of the breed, could you please consider sponsoring one of our seniors? You can find their pictures and stories under OUR CHIN on our web site: www.japanesechinrescue.org
