Yoda's Story

Yoda's owner passed away and extended family reached out to us because Yoda had no where to go and needed rescue placement. Yoda was a wonderful little companion to his owner and we are happy to be a safety net so that Yoda can find a new home that has lots of love to offer.

- Date of birth: 12/12/20

- Weight 14.25 pounds but needs to lose a couple of pounds. We are utilizing reduced portions and walks while Yoda is in foster to help him shed some of the extra weight.

- Possibly a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher mix

- Good with other dogs

- Avoids cats but could learn to live with one

- Kids ages 12+ if there are kids in the home. Young, energetic children make Yoda nervous and he would prefer a calm home without rambunctious activity.

- Enjoys being right where his person is and snoozing on the couch. Lower energy boy.

- Loves to go for walks and is good on leash

- Does well with his potty habits and is used to pottying on leash while living in an apartment prior.

Yoda is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. He does need a dental cleaning done and our rescue will cover that cost to have his teeth cleaned and a couple of extractions done so his mouth is clean and maintained. This surgery would be a future date at our vet clinic partner in SW Portland. His adoption fee also includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics in Oregon City, Portland, Milwaukie or Tualatin.

$300 adoption fee

Fostered in Oregon City, Oregon

COMPLETE AN ADOPTION APPLICATION FOR YODA ON OUR WEBSITE: WWW.AGAVEDOGS.ORG
