Meet Yeti: Adopted!
Date of birth: 8/2013
12/28/2015: Yeti is a darling little white Shih Tzu. He’s a super sweet and friendly guy. He’s 2 years old and weighs about 11 lbs, Yeti is playful and he enjoys playing with other dogs, and he’s submissive with other dogs. He’d enjoy having a doggie companion in his new home. He’s also good with cats and would be good with older kids. He rolls over for belly rubs! Yeti is crate trained and keeps quiet in his crate. He’s doing well with house training but he still needs to be supervised when he’s not crated.
Yeti was extremely matted when we first met him. He will need a home with someone who will keep him regularly groomed. He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for heartworms.
MORE ON ADOPTING OUR DOGS...
Please visit our web site at HSGKC.ORG for more information about our adoption process, our adoption fees and all that's included, and for a pet adoption application.
> Our goal is to send you home with a healthy pet and any information and support you may need to help your new pet adjust to his or her new home. All of our dogs & puppies have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas & ticks, tested for heartworms (7 mo. and over), and are on monthly heartworm preventative. Puppies who are too young to receive all the necessary puppy boosters and/or first rabies shot may be brought back to us for those vaccines at no extra charge. You will also receive a leash, collar, coupons for pet supplies and services, toys, and educational materials. And we'll give your dog a bath before he or she goes home!
> Please note that we prefer and may require a fenced yard for many of our dogs. Exceptions are made on an individual basis depending on the dog's needs, the person's dog experience, the dog's and person's activity levels, home environment and other factors.
> An application is required to adopt a pet and applicants must meet our adoption requirements. If you decide you'd like to adopt one of our dogs, we reserve the pet for you but we generally don't send the dog home with you that same day.
Thank you for searching for a shelter pet!
