Winnie Chihuahua & Rat Terrier Mix Oklahoma City, OK

Winnie is a 4 year old Chihuahua / Rat Terrier mix that weighs 13 lbs. She joined the rescue after her owner passed away.

She likes to sit in your lap. If she feels like she’s not getting enough attention she will scratch your arm letting you know to pet her. She is not that playful & will only occasionally play with another dog in the home.

She enjoys all the attention you give her, chew sticks, back rubs & napping under blankets. Can’t stress enough how much she loves being under blankets it does not matter what the temperature is she wants to be under a blanket. She does good on car rides & likes to look out the window then settles in for a nap.

She gets along with the other small dogs she has meet in her foster home. She does great around all the kids she has met including toddlers. She has not been tested around babies & unsure how she is with cats.

She is crate, leash & potty trained. She does so good when her family is away that she does not require crating. She has a doggy door in her foster home & may require some patience with her transition as she adjusts to a home without one as she’s been using the door to go outside to potty on her own. At night she likes to sleep in your bed under the covers.

Winnie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, HW negative, current on HW preventative and micro chipped. Her adoption fee is $200.
