Willow Wags 13857's Story

Meet Willow Wags, the tall drink of wag-ter! Willow Wags is a big dog sweetie with a tail that never takes a day off, her happy tail deserves its own fan club. One swish from Willow and your bad mood doesn't stand a chance! She's large and in charge... of giving love, that is. This gentle giant specializes in full-body tail wags, oversized cuddles, and the kind of sweet puppy eyes that should probably come with a warning label. Willow Wags is ready to branch out and plant herself right in your heart. If you've got room on your couch (and in your life) for a whole lot of happy, Willow is ready to wag her way home with you!

Here's some notes from her foster:

Meet Willow Wags, a sweet and gentle 60-pound soul who is ready to bring an abundance of love and cozy companionship to her forever home! This lovely senior girl treats overnight down-time like an art form, happily snoozing the night away on a plush rug or a comfy sofa, and she loves to sit elegantly like a true princess. She is incredibly food-motivated and loves diving into treat puzzles, which makes building a bond and working on her training a fun, rewarding experience. A patient adopter willing to use those favorite tasty treats to guide her through new routines will be rewarded with a fiercely loyal, wonderfully calm best friend.

When bringing Willow Wags into your home, keeping the 3-3-3 rule for rescue dogs in mind is a wonderful way to help her transition. It took this sweet girl about three days to feel comfortable enough to really settle in and eat, and about a week before she began to show us those first beautiful signs of relaxation in the house. Giving her that initial quiet patience allows her true, sparkling personality to shine through at her own perfect pace!
