She was terrified in the loud shelter so CCRT came to scoop her and her 12 hour old pups. <br/><br/> While in foster she is finally learning to enjoy life. Wilda was semi feral when she came into our care and made little progress at Cliff's Cottage (our kennel). She has blossomed at her foster home and even learning to play. She will take a very patient home that will give her the proper time and space to learn humans are okay. She must go into a home with atleast 1 other dog.

Cliff's Coonhound Rescue & Trapping's Adoption Policy
We adopt all over the US and Canada (unless otherwise stated on bio of pet) Our adoption process is as follows: Step 1: Adoption application (including 2 personal references and 1 vet reference, if current or past pet owner) Please allow up to 2 weeks for application to be reviewed and completed. Dog adoption application: http://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/VACC/Dog Step 2: Home check (In person or virtual) Once you have received word your application has been reviewed, the home check is the next step. This is simply a walk through of the home. Step 3: Once home check is approved, the animal is allowed to start the 2 week trial. Once finial decision is made, adoption contract is signed. $275 adoption donation (for dogs 7 and under, $175 for dogs over 7 years old) due AFTER the 2 week trial. Each adoption is offered 2 FREE 1 hour training sessions with a partnered trainer of ours. These sessions are offered in person in Maryland area or online if your not local to the Maryland trainer.
