Our Mission
CCRT is committed to saving the lives of hound breeds at risk of euthanasia. We also take great pride into trapping strays with animal controls permission.
We ensure all of our animals get proper medical care they usually desperately need. CCRT provides the animals with appropriate foster homes so the animals may decompress while we search for fitting, forever homes!
We adopt all over the US and Canada to give our animals the best chance at finding the perfect home.
Adoption Policy
We adopt all over the US and Canada!
Our adoption process is as follows:
Step 1: Adoption application (including 2 personal references and 1 vet reference, if possible) Please allow up to 2 weeks for application to be reviewed and completed.

Step 2: Home check (In person or virtual) Once you have received word your application has been reviewed, the home check is the next step. This is simply a walk through of the home.
Step 3: Once home check is approved, the animal is allowed to start the 2 week trial. Once finial decision is made, adoption contract is signed. $275 adoption donation (for dogs 7 and under, $175 for dogs over 7 years old) paid with PayPal, Venmo, check, or cash AFTER the 2 week trial.
Each adoption is offered 4 FREE 1 hour training sessions with a partnered trainer of ours. These sessions are offered in person in the Hampton Roads area of VA or online if your not local.
