Walnut's Story

Hi, I'm Walnut!
I'm a 4-year-old, house-trained guy who loves my people big time. Once I bond with you, I'm yours. I like to be where you are and be part of whatever's going on.

I'm a smart boy and thrive when someone gives me good leadership. I'm not crate trained, but I do well in the home with consistency.

My favorite things? Playing ball, running fast, and having space to stretch my legs. After I've gotten my energy out, I'm a professional-level snuggler. Couch time with my person is the best.

I'm looking for a home with kids ages 12 and up. Little ones just aren't my thing. I can be selective with other dogs -- I like some, not all -- so slow introductions are important. I might be happiest as your one-and-only so I can soak up all your attention. I'm not sure how I do with cats.

I can be a bit vocal and like to keep an eye on my surroundings. I'll do best with someone who understands that I need consistency, exercise, and clear boundaries.

If you're looking for a loyal shadow, a running buddy, and a serious cuddle companion... I might be your guy.
--------------------------------------------

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedures completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

Adoption Fee - $400

To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/
