Waffles Australian Shepherd Mix Oklahoma City, OK

Meet Waffles, an approximate 11 week old mix breed puppy who was born around October 2021. She became a Misfit after being rescued with her entire family from a horrible situation. This pet is spayed, up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, heart-worm negative, and micro-chipped!
 
Waffles is your typical, healthy and happy-go-lucky puppy that LOVES playing with everyone. She can be a little shy with bigger dogs, but once she gets comfortable with them and feels her confidence to “hang”, she is off and running! Waffles is an active girl that will need an active family to play with her and show her all of the love she deserves! And while she loves to play, she is also the best snuggler when she’s ready to nap.
 
Waffles is still very young and working on potty training and kennel training. She loves being outside and never hesitates to go potty outside, but is still learning when she has to go that she can’t just go wherever she is - as in, on the carpet. She does well in her kennel and sometimes will try to convince you to let her back out, but she settles down very quickly. Waffles is still being vaccinated so she hasn’t been out in public and has not worked on leash training, but she’s a smart, very social girl that loves anyone that comes to visit her foster home. Waffles already knows “kennel” and will run to her kennel and wait for a treat!
 
Waffles lives in a home with dogs of all ages and sizes and does great. She can be intimidated by bigger dogs to start and will act scared, but as soon as she realizes they want to play, she does great running and romping with them. She loves being outside! Waffles also lives with two cats and has never paid much attention to them. Waffles would do great with a four-legged companion, but she would also be okay as an only dog as long as her new family is active or if she had children to play with. Waffles’ start to life wasn’t great, but we are excited to see her forever family spoil her, just as she deserves!
