VIOLET's Story
Meet Violet 💜

Violet was rescued from Riverside shelter with a broken back leg and an uncertain future. Thanks to Barney’s Furry Friends, she received the surgery she needed and is now fully healed, thriving, and ready for her second chance at life.

Violet is about 1 year old, a 30 lb Boxer mix (possibly with Greyhound and Pittie) with a sweet, curious, and playful personality. She’s high energy, inquisitive, and very food motivated, making her fun to train and eager to learn.

She would do best in an active home that can provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. A fenced yard would be ideal, and she would likely love having a playful dog sibling.

Violet loves people and kids, but because of her enthusiastic energy she would do best in a home with older children. She does have some separation anxiety and is currently working on crate training.

After everything she’s been through, Violet is ready for a loving family who will give her the happy life she deserves.

Dogs: ✅ Loves them
Cats: Unknown (does have prey drive)
Kids: Best with older kids

If you’d like to adopt Violet, please fill out an adoption application on our website. 🐾
