Hello everyone! My name is Venus!

I’m a beautiful 2 year-old little low-rider that ended up at the shelter as a stray and no one came to my rescue. Looks like I was used to breed puppies and then discarded. I’m not sure why, since I would never abandon my family! The wonderful people at Passion For Pitties were so kind to pull me from the shelter and now I spend my days with my lovely foster family.

My foster is still getting to know me and I am still settling in. I have some scarring on my face and have had a rough life, but despite my past, I’ve been nothing but sweet and loving with the shelter staff and now my foster mom. Great with all people and will ADORABLY ask for love and snuggles from everyone I meet!

I do have some separation anxiety and so can be a little bit clingy, staying close to my foster mom. Still working on my manners and basic commands, but learning and improving every day. Enjoy giving lots of KISSES! Great with dogs too. However, would need to be in a home with a male dog.

Although I am not a big fan of toys, one of my favorite things to do is to chew on my deer antler! Always enjoy going for a walk and am great on a leash. Ignore most distractions unless it’s a cat or small animal which I want to chase after. Hey, I’m a dog, you know! Potty trained as well. Like all dogs, just need to be let out regularly and learn your schedule.
