Meet Tux!

This gentleman is a triple threat.... good with dogs, good with cats and good with kids! He's the whole package and from what we can tell, pretty much perfect!

Tux found himself at a very high kill shelter in GA after being surrendered by his family because they said they didn't have time for him. Tux was moments away from being euthanized because the shelter was at capacity and we just knew we had to save this 100% good boy and make sure he found the bestest forever home ever!

Tux is around a year and half and is 32 pounds. He is fully grown so will remain fairly small. He is super sweet with everyone he meets and he LOVES kids! He does well with cats and really enjoys meeting new dogs! We've been told he can escape most fences, though with the right home environment, we don't think he will do that any longer. We do strongly recommend keeping him on a long lead while outside until you know for certain that he will not climb the fence. Tux thinks car rides are pretty awesome, especially when he gets to go on a new adventure or go to get a pup cup! BONUS- this boy enjoys bathtime and is fantastic on leash! He is a dream dog!

Now that he's out of the shelter and in a loving foster home, he's realized the good life of sleeping in comfy, cozy beds and watching TV from the comfort of the couch, so if you are not into doggos on the FUR-niture, he might not be the right fit for you!

The adoption fee is $550.

All of our animals are fully vetted before going to their furever homes. They are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, dewormed, up to date on flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention, and microchipped!

Please Note: All animals are posted until they are officially adopted. This animal may have other interested adopters in line.

We are very quick to respond and process applications! You will be required to provide 2 non family personal references, a home video tour and a vet reference if you’ve previously had animals. Please feel free to send video to our email or facebook upon submitting an application, this lets us know you are serious and ready but also helps us to get you approved quickly. We will text and or call upon receiving your application to schedule a phone interview.

You must be an approved adopter in order to go on meet and greets. This saves everyone’s time- especially our gracious foster families! This also allows for you to take the animals home from the meet and greet if you so choose.
