Tulip Shepherd & Hound Mix Minneapolis, MN

My Safe Hands name is Tulip, but my foster family calls me Tuli (too-lee). And when they foster a litter of puppies, I become foster momma Tuli because I watch over them and dote on them.

I’m approximately 7 years old. I currently live with 2 younger dogs and 1 adult Labrador. They bring out my spunky side. My ideal home will include an experienced dog owner, older kids or no kids (the young ones just move too fast and are a bit too loud don't you think?) and a canine sibling might be nice. I’m happiest on my foster mom’s lap. If she sits, I’m right there to sit by her and receive all her love.

My foster family loves me so very much, so I’m looking for a forever family that loves me just as much. I have allergies and something about my thyroid so I take two medications to take care of that. I'm looking for someone who will give me all their love...and I promise I will give all of mine!

Tulip weighs about 61 lbs. Since we don't know at all what doggy genes are in the dogs make up (we don't know who mom and dad are!), we are just guessing on breed.

All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They have all had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer, are treated for fleas, have a heartworm test if over 6 months old and are up to date on a heartworm preventative.
