She's as charming as she is affectionate.<br/><br/>Trixie bonds quickly with her people and loves attention. She enjoys playing with toys, going for walks, and spending time with her family, but she's happiest snuggled up beside you. Trixie really loves car rides and sits contentedly seat belted in her travel seat which is great because she does not like to be left home alone. She is also easy to carry into dog friendly establishments in a sling. Trixie is smart, but at the same time, sensitive. <br/><br/>Trixie is leashed trained and housetrained. Trixie is quick on her feet and will need a family that is vigilant around exterior doors. <br/><br/>Although she came into rescue with another similar dog, Trixie would do best as the only dog in her new home. She enjoys being the center of attention and will reward you with loyal companionship and plenty of affection.<br/><br/>Trixie would love to be your best friend and shower you with love! <br/><br/>Trixie is spayed, current on shots, heartworm negative and had a dental cleaning and extractions. <br/><br/>Please email h2hadoptions@gmail.com directly. There is an application process and a $500 adoption fee.<br/><br/>WE REQUIRE AN ALL-ADULT HOME WITH A SECURELY FENCED YARD. The secure fence must be attached to the home, 4 feet or higher with gaps with no larger than 1.5 inches. An invisible fence, enclosed patio or terrace without grass, temporary fencing, dog pens or dog lots or community shared fencing (dog park) are NOT considered secure fencing. If your fencing has "puppy pickets" (or is supplemented with garden fencing) it needs to be at least 36 inches high from the ground up AT THE LOWEST POINT. No exceptions. <br/>We are an all-volunteer organization, and in addition to saving dogs, we have other responsibilities, so we appreciate your patience and understanding during this process. Response time can take up to 5 business. <br/><br/>Please inquire only if you are willing to come to Greensboro, NC to meet the dog after we schedule your home visit. We do not ship dogs or put them on transports. <br/><br/>Veterinary Care: All Hart-2-Heart Rescue foster dogs are spayed/neutered, current on heartworm prevention, parvo/distemper, Bordetella, and rabies vaccines, and are professionally groomed. As needed, our foster dogs have teeth cleanings, extractions, bloodwork and other diagnostic testing. <br/><br/>Adoption Fee: $500
