Hart-2-Heart Rescue is a non-profit organization formed to rescue small mixed-breed and purebred dogs who would otherwise fall between the cracks. Our focus is to provide a happy future for our foster dogs, to guarantee the care and support needed to ensure their full health of both mind and body. Everything we do is driven by the passionate belief that we can improve life for the dogs in our care regardless of their background, whether they are strays, abandoned, from puppy mills or shelters, or victims of unavoidable life circumstances.
Hart-2-Heart Rescue was established by co-founders Jennifer Hart and Judy Allen, long-time friends whose paths converged in the 1990’s. With complimentary skill sets and years of pet ownership, breed knowledge, training and behavioral expertise, and rescue experience, they joined forces to develop the model of home-fostered dogs. Hart-2-Heart Rescue was born of a dream and a sense of social responsibility.
