Topaz Update 8.9.2020:
Hi, my name is Topaz! My foster mom says I am one of the cuddliest dogs she has ever met. I love spending time out in their fenced yard zooming and sunbathing, but I love spending time cuddled up in blankets on furniture even more! Sometimes I pull a little hard when taking a walk, but I’m working on learning better leash manners! It takes me a little bit to warm up to new people, but once I do, they are my best friend! I love the resident dogs in the house and would love to have a doggy brother or sister in my forever home to show me the ropes. If you are looking for a cuddle buddy and walking buddy, maybe I’m the guy for you!
hen he arrived in rescue with an injured leg in March, 2019, we were not sure if the leg would heal properly. But it did!! . It has completely healed and he plays with other dogs actively. He loves to "lounge" in outside chairs that have padded seats on them. Topaz was originally fostered in TX but now resides in MN. His current foster home has stated how sweet he is including while giving him a bath. He is very agile and can jump a 4' fence. So at this time it is required that he find a home with a 6' fence that is secure. He is a flight risk. He trusts humans but a little slow to warm up
We want our dogs to live inside the home, not be tied or tethered or run free without supervision. If you are serious about adopting this dog, go to our website www.faerielandrescue.org and complete an application.
