Tonks's Story

Meet Tonks! This special senior gal is part bulldog, part brontosaurus, part retired Florida widow with strong opinions and highly selective hearing. She may grumble like Dorothy, but underneath those dramatic old-lady noises is a total Blanche — full of love, charm, and always ready to gossip over cheesecake with her favorite people.

Tonks is deeply devoted to her humans and is always eager for attention, affection, and pets. She’ll happily follow you from room to room just to keep you company. These days, lounging around with her besties is her top priority — she’s far more interested in cuddling on the couch than playing fetch. Looking for a Netflix buddy who won’t judge you for finishing an entire season in one sitting? Tonks is your girl.

This sweet senior is cat, dog, and kid-friendly, and aside from her ear issues, she’s in great health for an older lady. She’s also both crate-trained and house-trained.

Tonks is currently receiving treatment for her ears after years of suffering and neglect left them almost completely closed. Due to the severe damage caused by chronic untreated infections, she will likely remain partially or fully deaf for the rest of her life — but that certainly doesn’t stop her from loving life!

Apply to adopt Nova today at www.NewOrleansBulldogs.com/application

Please NOTE: do not use Petfinder's "inquiry" or "interest" option, which does not always work properly.
