She especially enjoys active, playful companions and has done well with medium-sized breeds such as Jindos and Corgis. Her enthusiastic sniffing can sometimes overwhelm quieter or more sensitive dogs, but with social playmates she runs and plays happily.<br/><br/>With Cats<br/><br/>Tol is very curious about cats. At a distance she may bark and want to chase, while up close she approaches carefully to sniff. Even after being swatted once, she continued to show interest without fear. A cat-savvy household or careful introductions would suit her best.<br/><br/>Health<br/> • Successfully underwent surgery for patellar luxation and has fully recovered.<br/> • Otherwise healthy with no known allergies.<br/> • Monthly preventatives up to date.<br/><br/>Personality & Behavior<br/><br/>Tol is playful, affectionate, and curious. She enjoys tug toys, interactive games, and being near her people. She greets familiar humans with joy and sometimes urinates from excitement when left alone for a while.<br/><br/>She does well with adults but has shown discomfort around preschool-aged children, so she would be happiest in a home without very young kids.<br/><br/>She thrives in canine company and loves the chance to play with other dogs.<br/><br/>Home Life & Training<br/> • House Training: Reliably potty trained outdoors.<br/> • Crate: Crate-trained and settles once inside.<br/> • Leash Skills: Hesitant when first seeing the leash but walks confidently once outside.<br/> • Alone Time: Can be left alone; showed mild chewing early on (table legs, door frame), which has improved with routine.<br/> • Car Rides: Comfortable with travel up to 4 hours (with breaks).<br/> • Grooming: Tolerates baths and enjoys tooth brushing.<br/><br/>Ideal Home<br/><br/>Tol would do best with:<br/> • An active household that enjoys daily walks and play.<br/> • Adopters patient with her shy moments and willing to continue leash training.<br/> • A structured, engaging home where she receives companionship and enrichment.<br/><br/>Adoption Process<br/><br/>All of our dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption.
