She was abandoned in a box with 18 other puppies outside a municipal kill shelter in Hongseong, South Korea. Thanks to quick rescue, she survived and grew up in foster care, learning how to live safely in a home. All of her siblings have already found families—now it’s Tol’s turn. She has fully recovered from surgery for luxating patella and is ready to start her next chapter.

🩺 Health & Care
• Fully recovered from patellar luxation surgery
• Otherwise healthy with no known allergies
• Monthly preventatives up to date

🌟 Personality Snapshot
Tol is lively, affectionate, curious, and expressive. She loves interactive play, tug toys, and being near her people. She forms strong bonds and greets familiar humans with big enthusiasm—including happy wiggles and occasional excitement peeing if she’s been alone for a while.

🗣️ About Barking (Important)
Tol does bark, especially when she’s excited, curious, or notices movement (people, dogs, cats). This is part of how she communicates. With routine, redirection, and training, her barking is manageable—but adopters should be comfortable working with an expressive dog rather than expecting a quiet one.

👨‍👩‍👧 With People
• Affectionate and playful with adults
• Enjoys attention and closeness
• Has shown discomfort around preschool-aged children
• Best suited for a home without very young kids

🐕 With Dogs
• Very social and eager to greet other dogs
• Loves active, playful companions
• Does best with confident dogs who enjoy play
• Her enthusiastic sniffing can overwhelm shy dogs, so good matches matter

🐈 With Cats
• Very curious
• May bark or want to chase from a distance
• Approaches carefully up close to sniff
• Even after being swatted, she remained curious rather than fearful
• Best for a cat-savvy home with slow, structured introductions

🏡 Home Life & Training
• Potty trained outdoors
• Crate trained and settles well once inside
• Initially hesitant about the leash, but walks confidently once outside
• Can be left alone; early mild chewing (table legs, door frame) has improved with routine and enrichment
• Comfortable on car rides up to 4 hours with breaks
• Tolerates baths and enjoys tooth brushing

🎾 What Tol Needs to Thrive
• Daily walks and playtime
• Mental and physical enrichment
• Patient adopters willing to continue leash skills and barking management
• A structured routine with clear expectations
• Preferably a dog-savvy home that enjoys active companionship

🏠 Ideal Home
Tol will do best with adopters who:
💚 Enjoy active routines and outdoor time
💚 Understand young dogs need guidance and consistency
💚 Are comfortable working with barking using positive training
💚 Can offer companionship, structure, and enrichment

💬 Why Tol
Tol is joyful, resilient, and full of personality. She expresses herself openly, loves deeply, and thrives when given structure and engagement. For the right home—one that appreciates an expressive, playful dog—Tol will be a loyal, fun, and deeply rewarding companion.

👉 Apply to Adopt
https://forms.gle/UmpfbgmydH7igSdN7
