Teefers's Story

Meet Teefers

Teefers is a two-year-old Shiba Inu mix weighing in at a compact 12 pounds — all personality packed into a small frame. He came to us after being rescued from Downey Animal Shelter, where he was facing euthanasia, and he has been making up for lost time ever since.

What makes Teefers stand out is how genuinely easy he is to live with. He is fully house trained and crate trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and gets along well with other dogs. Whether you are an experienced dog owner or relatively new to the journey, Teefers is the kind of dog who meets you where you are.

His Shiba Inu heritage gives him a striking, fox-like appearance and an independent spirit, but underneath that composed exterior is a dog who has proven he can adapt, bond, and thrive in a home environment. He comes neutered and up to date on all vaccinations, ready to walk through your front door and never look back.

Fostered in San Diego
Apply today at homeboundhounds.org

Additional notes on Teefers from his foster mama:

1.
