Teddy's Story

**AVAILABLE

Teddy is a 4 yr old neutered male owner surrendered purebred Mini Aussie. He belonged to a senior couple who became overwhelmed with too many dogs to care for. He has lived with them since 8 weeks of age. He is a good boy, for the most part. He has been through an obedience class, been used as a stud dog , lived with kids, cats and other dogs. He does suffer from some anxiety's. He is terrified of thunder, fireworks and gunfire. He is great with other dogs, unless food is involved. If you have another dog, he'll need to be fed separately. He was great with the 10-14 yr old children in the home, but NOT with visiting children and even some adults, so a home with very little foot traffic in a rural setting is being sought. He is fiercely loyal to his people and was allowed to be very protective, which has led to a few bites over the years(I can go into detail about these incidents with any approved applicant, all were completely avoidable). He's a larger mini, at 36#s and would make an awesome country dog, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and all it's noise and people.
