UltiMutt RSQ's Adoption Policy
UltiMutt RSQ is committed to finding safe, loving, permanent homes for every dog in our care. Potential adopters complete an application & screening process that may include a vet reference, personal references, background check & home verification. We work to ensure each adoption is a good match for both the dog & the family, considering lifestyle, household members, existing pets, and the individual needs of the dog. All dogs must be spayed or neutered as part of the adoption process & receive appropriate veterinary care before or after adoption, according to their individual circumstances. Adopters agree to provide lifelong veterinary care, proper nutrition, safe housing & responsible ownership. If an adopter is ever unable to continue caring for an UltiMutt RSQ dog, the dog must be returned to UltiMutt RSQ & may not be surrendered, rehomed, sold, or transferred without our approval. Our goal is not simply to place dogs—we strive to create successful, lifelong matches.
