Because of that, he is still a very fearful dog who needs a patient adopter willing to let him move at his own pace. Ted is not looking for a busy household or lots of new adventures. His perfect home is a calm, quiet one with a secure fenced yard, no children, and a female adopter who understands that trust is earned slowly.<br/><br/>The good news? Once Ted trusts you, his sweet personality shines through.<br/><br/>His foster mom has watched him transform from a dog who wanted to disappear into one who happily snuggles on the couch, seeks out affection, and enjoys spending time with the people he knows. He has learned to trust his foster mom and her adult daughter when she visits, and he absolutely loves to curl up with the family's dog. Ted is playful with other dogs and would likely benefit from a confident canine companion who can help show him that life is good.
