Our Mission
Heart of America Humane Society is a foster based organization. We do not have a physical location. Our dedicated volunteers foster the animals in our program in their homes. Fostering these animals allows us to know a lot about them so that we can assist prospective adopters in matching the perfect pet with the perfect family.

Adoption Policy
We hold Saturday Adoptions at 3 PetSmart locations.
(1) CATS - PetSmart at 115th & Metcalf in Overland Park KS - Noon to 3 pm
(2) DOGS - PetSmart at 119th & Strang Line in Olathe KS - Noon to 3 pm
(3) CATS & DOGS - PetSmart at 920 NE Sam Walton Lane in Lee’s Summit MO - 11 am to 2 pm
