She has been at the shelter since March 26, 2026 and is ready for her new home.

Pet ID: A1231551

Shelter volunteers note that Teagan:
* Loves kids
* Does amazing in the car
* Doesn’t bark/cry
* Ignores people/dogs walking by
* Walks calmly on a leash
* Loves laying in the grass

"From the very beginning, Ms. Teagan was ready to go. She did perfectly in the car, no accidents either, simply laid in the back seat and enjoyed the ride. Ms. Teagan also met up with her kennel sister Ms. Sundae (#AI231398 ) at the park which brought out a whole other side of her. She is such a happy pup who just wants your love." -- Streets of Bakersfield volunteer

ABOUT
Companion Animal Protection Services (CAPS), a national nonprofit based in Thousand Oaks, CA., partners with Kern County Animal Services in Bakersfield to find homes for at-risk dogs. The shelter has more than 300 dogs and puppies in two metal warehouses with no outdoor runs. Dogs and puppies are at high risk for euthanasia because of lack of space and too many abandoned dogs in the community.

HOW TO ADOPT, RESCUE OR FOSTER
Please contact CAPS if you are interested in adopting, rescuing or fostering, and we will make sure the shelter contacts you.
