Tawny Mixed Breed Madison, WI

Meet Tawny! Tawny is around 2 year old and 45lbs.
Tawny has been in foster care for 8 months (11/20/21) and has fully bloomed into a sweet and loving dog. While she was shut down initially when she arrived, she has learned that people are good, blanket snuggles are the best, and dog friends are awesome! Tawny is still working on being on leash but does well with a fenced in back yard. She is mostly housetrained (she still uses potty pads for long days).
She is playful with new dogs and respects their boundaries. While Tawny is still initially weary of new people, she is warms up to them and has done well with several pet sitters we have had. Tawny would do best in a home with a connected, fenced backyard and a dog companion for her. She will need a patient home to continue working with her on leash training, but she would make a great addition to the right family. Tawny has a lot of love to give and is looking for her forever home.

Dogs from Underdog Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
Spay/Neuter
Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella Vaccinations (as age appropriate-puppy adopters may need to cover some vaccine boosters)
Heartworm Test (for dogs over 6mo)
Microchip
Deworming
Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian

Our adult dog adoption fee is $300. Our puppy (under 5 mo) is $375. Our senior dog (over 8 yrs) is $250.
