Tator is 1.5 yr old, 45 lb, (we believe) pointer mix girl. She is a friendly dog who loves attention from humans and other dogs. She is very vocal, extremely intelligent, high energy which can make training a challenge if you don’t exercise her enough first. She needs a family that is active with a fenced yard. She plays in the doggie pool so she likes the water but not a fan of the hose. She gets along great with my two males but does need to be with more submissive dogs.
She is good on a leash and comes when called, is crate trained and house broken as she will tell you when she needs to go outside. Fenced yard and no young children plus more active family willing to continue her training would be best for this girl. She has not been around cats so no idea how she is with them. All animals are kept in foster homes so there is no shelter for you to visit animal. Please go to https://new2urescue.org/adoption/adoption-application/ if you would like to meet the foster animal or learn more.

All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.

Adoption fees:
Puppy to 1 yr of age: $350 to $400
1 yr to 6 yrs of age: $250 -$400
6 yrs to 8 yrs of age: $200 -350
Over 9 yrs of age: Adoption fee varies
*NOTE* Purebreds and Designer breeds, regardless of age are $325 to $400
