Tank's Story

Mr. Tank here is a very big, sweet loving about 111lb. boy! Tank came to us from a Puppy Mill where many dogs (and other animals) were in poor shape, but Tank here was in healthy condition, just dirty. He is a bit shy around men, but is slowly warming up to the man and teenage boy in his foster home. He is very friendly and cuddly with women and kids. He does show fear with brooms or loud, unknown noises, as well. He is not potty trained, but he is no longer marking in his foster home since his neuter. His foster family has reported that they are working on him with potty-training, and he is slowly making progress! He is a smart boy that learns quickly.

He is in a foster home with kids, other dogs, and cats, and does well with all. He is a bit pushy with the cats, but does not chase/try to harm them at all. He is slowly learning how to play with toys, after watching the other dogs in his foster home, as well. He has great recall, can "sit," and is learning "shake."

If you are interested in giving Tank a loving forever home, please fill out an application here:

https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/JRHS/Dog
