Sylvie (Joy)'s Story

Meet Sylvie - The Cuddly Girl Who Wants to Be Your One and Only

Sylvie has had her heart broken more than once, but she still believes there is a home out there where she can finally stay.

This affectionate, playful girl loves deeply and bonds strongly with her person. Sadly, that owner eventually needed to move into memory care assisted living, and Sylvie returned to rescue through no fault of her own.

She was later adopted again, but after several months she came back to rescue because she and the resident dog were not a good match.

Those experiences have helped us understand exactly what Sylvie needs most: a home where she can be the only pet and finally have her person all to herself.

Sylvie is not the dog for every household, but for the right one, she could be an incredibly devoted companion. She doesn't need a busy social life or a house full of animals. She needs consistency, calm, affection, and someone who will love her for exactly who she is.

If you're looking for a playful, affectionate dog who wants to be your one and only, Sylvie may be waiting for you.

Ready to meet Sylvie?
