Sylo's Story
Sylo is a 3-year-old Husky/German Shepherd mix with a big personality and an even bigger love for being part of the action. He’s lived with kids ages 7 and up and has done well, making him a great fit for a home that enjoys an active, playful dog.

He’s been around cats and can coexist, though he may be a bit too interested at times — so a confident, dog-savvy cat would be best. Sylo enjoys the company of other dogs and has done well playing with a variety of sizes and personalities when introduced appropriately.

This guy is all about living life — whether it’s long hikes, running, playing tug or fetch, or hopping in the car for an adventure. He walks nicely on leash and loves being out and about, but like many Huskies, he’s not one to trust off-leash.

Sylo is used to having some freedom in the home and is generally well-mannered, though he can get into things (think garbage or a favorite chew item) if he’s bored or under-exercised. He has shown some stress when left alone for longer periods, especially if his routine changes, so a home that can give him consistent structure, activity, and companionship will help him thrive.

At the end of the day, Sylo is a good dog who just needs the right outlet for his energy and a family ready to include him in their daily life. With the right balance of exercise, attention, and routine, he’s going to be a really fun and rewarding companion.
