Sybbie is a five year old mini-Australian Shepherd whose family added two babies after her arrival, and cannot handle the complexities of introducing a small dog to toddlers. She is spayed, and will be updated with her rabies vaccine before any meet and greets with new families. Sybbie will be stressed greatly at the shelter, but it will give us a chance to assess her needs, and see how she does with strangers. Sybbie is not the perfect pet for just anyone, but the things her family told us are typical for just about any dogs that have not been trained! Positives: Very Hyper and a lot of Energy , Loves to Run , Loves Chew Toys , Friendly and Excited with Familiar Adults , Separation/ Crate Anxiety , Gets along well with dogs her size and smaller , Docile Personality , Loves Affection but Skittish at First Perhaps you love a challenge?! All adoptions begin with an application, found here: friendsofcampbellcounty.org, under the Animals heading. We review the applications, call references, and will then correspond by email with the applicants. We ask that all other pets in the household be sterilized prior to adding a new pet, and that all pets be current with rabies vaccines. *Unaltered babies under the age of six months can be adopted only to residents of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, and counties touching Campbell County. *Unaltered adult pets six months or older will need to be sterilized before they can be adopted outside our local area of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, or counties touching Campbell. *We do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice. *We do not permit adopted cats to be declawed following adoption.
