Swiss Cheese's Story

Hi, I am Swiss Cheese! I am a 3-year-old Mini Poodle/Schnauzer mix weighing about 13 pounds. I came from a hoarding situation, and while my past was not easy, I am ready to leave those days behind and discover what it means to be loved, cared for and part of a family of my own. When I arrived, I was so severely matted that I had to be shaved down. Now, with proper care and a safe place to heal, my fur is slowly growing back and I am feeling better every day.

I am a gentle, sweet little guy who is learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. I do best with patience, kindness and a calm environment where I can take my time getting comfortable. Every day I am becoming a little more confident, and once I know I can trust you, I will happily soak up affection and enjoy all the simple things that come with having a loving home.

I am ready for a fresh start with a family who understands that every small step forward is worth celebrating. I will come fully vetted, neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. If you are looking for a loyal little companion who is ready to leave his past behind and fill your home with love, I would love to meet you.

Please apply to adopt me here:
https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/63adcb00cb896f59b74103d2/6a5ebc8953532818c00faa8f

———

If interested, please do not submit an inquiry through Petfinder.
