Meet Sundae Sundae is a 2-year-old female Aussie/Catahoula mix weighing approximately 56 lbs who is ready for a fresh start with a patient, loving family. This sweet, sensitive girl may be a little shy at first and can startle in new environments, but with a calm approach and a little patience, she quickly begins to build trust. Once she feels safe, Sundae's affectionate personality truly shines—she absolutely loves belly rubs and will happily soak up all the attention you can give. Sundae walks nicely on a leash and has great leash manners, making her a wonderful companion for calm neighborhood strolls. She would do best in a home with children 13 years and older or in an adult-only household where she can feel secure and continue to grow in confidence at her own pace. At this time, Sundae is not comfortable around other dogs. This may be due to the stress of the shelter environment or past experiences, but a meet and greet is required for homes with existing pets to ensure a good fit. She may do best as the only pet where she can relax and thrive. Sundae is spayed, microchipped, current on her rabies vaccination and basic boosters, and is heartworm negative.
