Summit is a rambunctious, adorable, fun-loving puppy whose favorite thing to do is play. He loves to wrestle and run with his brothers and sister. He also loves to follow and chase his foster family around. He is a puppy and is still learning proper puppy manners and how to play with people and their hands gently. Summit loves to play with toys, especially rope toys as tug of war is his favorite. He has figured out short staircases, still a little leery of a lot of stairs but he is super smart and will figure them out in no time. He loves other dogs and does great with all sizes of dogs. He also does wonderful with people of all ages. Summit is permanently blind. He comes when called and will follow you around as long as you make noise so he can find you. He is a smart boy who is doing fairly well with potty training and he will continue to learn in his new forever home. Summit is an awesome puppy that will make an amazing addition to an active family.

SUMMIT & HIS SIBLINGS ARE PERMANENTLY BLIND DUE TO A BIRTH DEFECT. They get around fabulously and are smart pups who find their way around without missing a beat.

Summit is a purebred Entlebucher Mountain Dog born 2-20-18. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed. Adoption fee is $475 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled after your application has been approved. Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period. We need ALL family members or those living within your home, to be present for an appointment. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference and home ownership, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records.
