Strawberry is 8 months old and 33 pounds of pure sweetness.  She has a calm, gentle demeanor and is well behaved.  She is a quiet gal who rarely barks, but likes to stand back and observe.  She loves nature and being outside with her people  - exploring the yard, watching the birds and squirrels, chasing insects, or just basking in the sun.  Strawberry is curious but incredibly gentle with other creatures, even interacting with ants and grasshoppers without hurting them.  Due to a rough start in life, Strawberry is a bit shy meeting new people.  Once she knows she is safe though, she is so sweet and affectionate.  She loves being petted, rolls over for belly rubs, sits for treats, and enjoys sitting on your lap (if you invite her).  She even gives hugs!  Strawberry is crate trained.  Her crate is her safe place, and she goes in easily and is quiet and relaxed while she’s in there.  She is dog friendly and enjoys being with her senior Doberman brother, Hank.  She is respectful when Hank doesn’t want to play and will snuggle up on the bed next to him.  She takes cues from Hank on how to read situations and how to be a dog, and she would do very well in a home with other dogs who can continue to help her build confidence and learn how to “dog.”  She is a total lovebug who will make a wonderful companion for her people.
