I'm Strawberry, a happy and spirited puppy who is ready to pour all of my enthusiasm into a family that is just as excited about life as I am. I will be honest with you: I have a lot of energy, and I need a home where that energy is matched with patience, consistency, and a firm but loving hand. I am not a finished product yet. I am a puppy who is still learning, still growing, and still working on potty training, and I need someone who sees my potential and wants to help me reach it. What I bring to the table is an enormous amount of affection. After we play, after we run around a fenced yard until we are both tired, I want nothing more than to lay down right next to you and stay there. Treats are the fastest way to my heart, and I take training seriously when there is a good reward involved. Chew toys have never really appealed to me, but that is a small quirk. A heads up on something important: I have a habit of chewing through any collar left on me, so a harness is the right call for our walks and outings. Just remember to put it away afterward or I may decide it needs redecorating. I do wonderfully with other dogs, would prefer a cat-free home, and am still getting comfortable around children.
