Stevie is one of those puppies who instantly wins people over without even trying. She's sweet, playful, affectionate, and somehow convinced she's the same size as the big dogs she wants so badly to play with.<br/><br/>This adorable girl loves stuffies, balls, and following the action wherever it goes. While she does well relaxing in her pen, she would much rather be out with her people and dog friends participating in whatever is happening. She's incredibly social and friendly with new people and approaches life with happy confidence.<br/><br/>Stevie especially loves being held and cuddled, and she'll happily fall asleep right in your arms after a busy play session. She's playful with the larger dogs in her foster home and isn't intimidated by them at all, though her foster supervises playtime carefully since Stevie doesn't quite realize how tiny she still is.<br/><br/>Like any young puppy, Stevie is still learning the basics and will need continued training and guidance as she grows, but she already has such a loving and engaging personality that it's easy to see she's going to make a wonderful addition to a lucky family.<br/><br/>They were rescued from a kill shelter in New Mexico.<br/><br/>Meet and greets are by appointment only. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog.<br/> If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded.<br/> Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets.<br/> The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances. <br/> More questions?
