Stella's Story
Stella (and a blind in one eye pug) were left behind (early March) when the owner was taken by ambulance to the local hospital, then flown to Chattanooga and was not expected to return. I don't know the final outcome, but suspect the owner passed away. A neighbor called law enforcement when the owner didn't return knowing that there were 2 dogs in the home. The dogs were found alone in the home and pulled by the officers. Stella spent 5 days at the shelter and was pulled by a rescue friend to get her to me. Charlie, as usual, without hesitation said yes! ❤️ and here we are.<br/>The pug was pulled by a different rescue. After almost 2 months in foster care in Mur;hy NC, Stell will be brought to our main facility in Claremont, NC. She's still got some stitches that need to come out in late April and then she will be available for adoption.
