Meet Stella, one of the most stunning dogs we have ever seen - both inside and out. She is 6 years old, 75 pounds, and a shepherd or border collie mix. She has the softest fur and sweetest personality.

She came to us from KY when an unfortunate accident left her with severe wounds on her paws and her owners were going going euthanize because of the cost. We took over her care and her paws have healed beautifully and will continue to yet better ever day! She was definitely a staff favorite at the vet where she recuperate.

She is very very sweet and grew up in a home with teenagers; she could like do well in a home with older children who respect her space. She is a bit nervous around new people and situations initially ... but warms up very quickly. She is more cautious around men than women but once she knows she is safe, she is happy as can be.

She would LOVE a fenced in yard and a family who will spoil and love her the way she deserves. She has been through so much and is so looking forward to a bright beautiful future!
