Meet Squeaky
Meet Squeaky!
Say hello to this beautiful blonde gal named Squeaky - a 10 year old doxie that weighs 10 pounds and when she gets excited, she makes a squeaky sound! She is currently in a household with multiple dogs/cats and gets along with all of them, but she prefers to be the center of attention. Squeaky has only met older children at her foster home but foster mom believes she would do well with all ages. Squeaky may be shy at the first meeting but will warm up quickly. All of Squeaky's teeth have been removed but that doesn't let it stop her from her passion of eating. She eats soft food and steals small dried kibbles from her roommates when they are not looking. Squeaky can be comfortable in a kennel but prefers to be laying in her bed if owner is away. Squeaky also enjoys bedtime with foster mom snuggled under the covers. She is potty trained but requires regular outdoor visits. When she cannot get her foster's attention to let her outside, she will use a potty pad. If you are looking for a mature and affectionate dog with an awesome personality, give Squeaky a chance - you will not regret it!
Albert's Dog Lounge is a transporting dog rescue, meaning that we rescue many of our dogs from high kill shelters in areas of dog overpopulation. We are a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. The vast majority of our dogs come from the Houston, TX area where we have an entire team of volunteers, coordinators, and fosters. We do also work with local shelters, rescues, and owners. If you apply for a dog that is currently in our local Houston program, we will work to get your dog transported to WI as quickly as possible. We ask that you have patience during this time of uncertainty and unprecedented dog adoptions nationwide.
