Meet SPIKEY!<br/><br/>As of June 8, 2026, he is about 14 lbs and 4.5 months old.<br/><br/>We think he's a Schnauzer/Lab mix simply based on his looks. He's got a little scruff on his chinny chin chin which is so endearing! Also...can we discuss his ears? Is it just us, or do his ears look like some kind of Christmas cookie, pigtails or bob!? We can't figure it out but when he looks at us straight on, we can't help but chuckle. He is SO CUTE.<br/><br/>He is super duper friendly and gets along with other dogs well! He's currently being fostered with several other dogs and has had no issues.<br/><br/>He is so SO sweet and compliant and even allows himself to be dressed in onesie jammies! His name is a misnomer (haha) because he is not in the least spikey! In fact, he's pure sugar!<br/><br/>Spikey is one of those puppies that, while young, also has a calm energy about him. He is not one of those absolutely insane bouncing off the wall puppies; he is on the chiller side.<br/><br/>He is great with kids! He is currently living with a child and he loves to get on his lap and give him kisses (see video!). He is sweet and gentle with him.<br/><br/>Spikey is just a truly happy puppy who loves humans and love.<br/><br/>***Spikey is currently being fostered in Puerto Rico and will only fly to his forever home once adopted! We can easily arrange a flight into JFK/EWR/BRD/BWI/IAD/DCA/PHL/TPA and many many more! We are open to adopters in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast.
