Meet Sparky: The Sweet Compact Companion Looking for a Forever Home<br/><br/>At 5 years old and 27lbs, Sparky Loko became available at North Central shelter in February after arriving as a stray. While the shelter environment can be overwhelming, Sparky Loko showed his gentle and sweet personality right away. He quickly warmed up to handlers as staff and volunteers alike noted his friendly and loving nature. With the help of a dedicated foster, our team at Dog Coalition LA was able to get him out of the stressful shelter and into a foster home.<br/><br/>Now in his foster home, Sparky's personality is blossoming. He is potty trained, comfortable in his crate, and doing well with leash manners on walks. His foster describes him as affectionate, food motivated, and outgoing. Sparky loves being around humans and is often found nearby hoping for a few extra pets. He is playful when his people are home and often rubs up against them for attention. This guy has a spunky personality, very expressive eyes, and is ready to find his forever home!<br/><br/>Sparky Loko is currently being fostered in a home with cats and is taking introductions slowly while showing respectful behavior toward them. We believe he would also do nicely in a home with another dog given the right fit. He hasn’t met a person he doesn’t like and clearly enjoys human companionship.
