Sophie

Sophie is a sweet and gentle 5-year-old girl who is looking for a quiet, patient home where she can feel safe and loved. She is very shy at first and takes time to come out of her shell, but once she trusts you, all she wants is to be close to her person—whether that’s sitting quietly beside you during the day or curled up next to you at night. Sophie would do best in a calm, laid-back home with someone who understands that building trust takes patience and consistency. She is nervous around men and will need a family willing to move at her pace and let her adjust slowly. Because of her timid nature, a home without children is required. She is learning how to play with toys and is starting to discover how fun being a dog can be. Sophie walks okay on a leash, rides wonderfully in the car when safely seat belted in, and is doing great with pottying outside. She does not enjoy being in a crate, so a home where crating is kept to a minimum would be ideal. Sophie needs a securely fenced yard where she can safely explore and feel comfortable. She would be happy either as an only dog or with a calm canine companion. This precious little girl is searching for someone with a kind heart and gentle approach who will give her the love and security she deserves. Sadie is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative and on heartworm preventative, had a dental, and microchipped. Sadie’s adoption fee is $350.00.
