Meet Sophie
Our beautiful Sophie came to us with a belly full of THIRTEEN babies! Now that her babies are adopted, it's her turn to find a family where she can be the baby.
Sophie is a ~3 year old American Bulldog beauty queen. She is silly and happy and very very loving. She is a bit of a chunk, but she is very active and would make a great walking / running / hiking buddy for the right family.
Sophie currently lives with other dogs and loves to play with her foster siblings. She is a bit too curious about the Chihuahuas (who can blame her? they are weird!) for us to feel confident in her going to a home with small dogs, but she does great with bigger dogs. She is not cat friendly, but she does love kids - especially ones with treats.
Sophie loves to go for walks and listen to classic rock on car rides. She also really loves toys!
Sophie is fully vetted (vaccinated, spayed, & microchipped). She is still very low heartworm positive, but is on a slow-kill protocol that the rescue will continue to provide until she's all cleared up.
